Description
70 days. Fava Beans. Large fleshy pods about 17 cm (7″) long with a glossy green skin and flat brown seeds. Use as a shell bean. Sow as early as possible; fava beans prefer cooler weather. Pinch the tips of the plants after the the first 4 or 5 flower clusters appear to set the pods.
