We welcome you to explore our greenhouse online! We are a growing family-owned, community-based greenhouse just north of Grunthal on Highway 216. We are near the communities of Grunthal, St. Malo, St. Pierre, and Kleefeld. Opening at the end of April each year, our season is short and sweet, ending at the end of June with the conclusion of school.

Sheldon and I (Carrie) were entrusted with the greenhouse in 2009 from a wonderful couple who had run the greenhouse at this location for 22 years as Reimer’s Greenhouse. Prior to this, the ‘Grunthal Greenhouse’ (then named Driedger’s Greenhouse) was located south of Grunthal and as a result has been part of this community for decades.

We carry on the tradition of hand seeding and transplanting, minimal chemical use, practices that are considerate of the environment (including water conservation, use of compostable pots, cleaning and reusing plastic pots), community involvement, and selling many plants in multipacks which is a cost effective way to increase the beauty of our communities.

We specialize in selection, quality, and customer service. With trusted and proven favourites, new and exciting plants, experience and wisdom passed on from the Reimers, and bright blue shirts so that you can easily find us in the greenhouse, we truly have some things old, some things new, knowledge borrowed, and we’re wearing blue!
